Special Rates

Last evening I was making several phone calls to hotels and "suite" properties in Tucson for an upcoming visit. I will be staying a week and was inquiring if the facility had special weekly rates.. Here's one conversation I had ...

"Hello, ABC Suites, may I help you?"

"Yes, I was inquiring if you have weekly rates.", I asked.

"No, I'm sorry, we don't. Just daily.", came the reply.

"Oh, okay", I said, "What are your daily rates?"

"How long will you be staying?", came the reply.

"A week."

"Oh, in that case, the rate is ..."

Too bad I couldn't see her sign over the phone, huh?
