The
Muses
The nine Muses of Greek mythology are goddesses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the goddess
of memory. The Muses were believed to inspire artists and other creative
people. It was also believed that each Muse focussed on a particular art
or science. Today, the term "Muse" is still used to describe anyone
that inspires a creative artist.
